    Senior Environmental Engineer (Long Beach, CA)

    Salary:
    $110,000 - $140,000

    Are you a seasoned Environmental Engineer seeking a challenging leadership role in Long Beach, California? Our Client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Environmental Engineer with a strong background in project management and regulatory compliance.


    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Environmental Engineer to join our team in Long Beach.

    This key role requires a California Professional Engineer (PE) certification, extensive experience in environmental consulting (10+ years), and a proven track record of successful project management, particularly in remediation design, installation, and operations & maintenance (O&M).


    Key Responsibilities:
    Act as Project Manager overseeing multidisciplinary teams for remedial design, installation, and O&M projects.
    Manage Phase II environmental site assessments and associated activities.
    Ensure compliance with California regulatory agencies and environmental standards.
    Develop and implement strategies to mitigate environmental risks and liabilities.
    Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to achieve project goals.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    California Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
    Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on remediation projects.
    Strong knowledge of California environmental regulations and permitting processes.
    Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Ability to lead and mentor junior staff.
