    Description

    Volley's product engineering team is looking for an engineering leader who will advocate for and demonstrate a commitment to product quality, well-designed software, and robust architecture.

    You would be responsible for expeditiously shipping features that improve the end-user experience while ensuring the highest levels of software quality and collaborating with product, design, and other stakeholders.

    This job opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are comfortable with on-site attendance in our Bay Area office 2-3 times per week and are either currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work.

    Collaborate with UX experts, designers, and data analysts to deliver products quickly and effectively
    Built consumer-facing apps or games at scale
    Worked with audio, voice, or other emerging technologies
    6+ years of professional coding experience
    ~ Experience leading a product- and experience-focused software development team
    ~ Experience with modern NodeJS and/or Typescript or other strongly typed languages
    ~ Passion for entertainment and/or games

    Our scripting language:
    Onboard into Volley's engine and deployment infrastructure
    Familiarize yourself with the project architecture and lay out a technical roadmap
    Work directly with the product to improve conversion, retention, and monetization for some of the most beloved games in the world
    Stage 3 (Virtual On-Site Interview) with various partners and team members.
    Stage 4 (Founder Chat) with our Founders
