    **12-month contract**

    Top Three Skills:

    1. 7+ years of experience working as a senior java developer, preference is for at least 2-3 previous projects working as a full stack developer across all layers of an application.
    2. 7+ years experience working on the front end using one of the modern javascripts (Angular, React, Vue, etc.). Various Spring Framework tools, with hands on development with Spring Boot a must.
    3. Struts 2 Experience (struts to spring migration experience)
    4. 7+ years experience working in an Enterprise Oracle environment. Must have in depth query writing skills to extract large data.
    5. Familiarity with Java build tools, such as Maven
    6. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

    The client has purchased a piece of business in GE Tax. Along with the purchase of the business, the client has purchased the various products and services that GE Tax offered. As a result, the client has largest client. Sunil's team is responsible for a series of 15 applications that deal with the Domestic Federal Compliance of Corporations filing tax returns.

    The client has a book of services that they are currently offering. They are listed below:
    1. Planning & Policy
    2. Tax Accounting
    3. U.S. Federal and State Tax
    4. Global Direct & Indirect Taxes
    5. IRTW
    6. Transfer Pricing
    7. Tax Controversy and Regulatory Services
    8. Country Tax Teams
    9. Tax Data Improvement

    Work Environment: There are 220+ employees of the Tax IST organization all together but Hiren's team consists of 6-7 Developers.

    Interview Information: Two Step Interview Process;

    1. WebEx with Leads - Malesh and Prasanth (technical)
    2. Phone Screen with Director - Heath (relationship/ behavioral)

    Who is the Internal/External Customer: The external clients are the various clients of the client.

    Impact to the Internal/External Customer: These applications will allow the clients of the client to effectively comply with Federal standards when completing their tax returns. This application will also hold extremely confidential information of the clients that is vital to their business. If the application is perceived to the clients as not capable of saving the organization money through efficiency then the client loses revenue due to the fact they will not be able to sell this application.

    Business Challenge: The client has a goal to improve tax functions across their client's business, Their solutions include integrated technology and focus on people and processes. The tax platform has a suite of tax applications that support the full Tax Lifecycle and is designed to manage data in a complex environment, provide maximum transparency, and meet multiple stakeholder needs.
    Phase one of tjhe client's three Phase platform update needs to be done by April 2019 so that they fax add tax functionality to the tool. Adding this tax functionality will aid PwC in customer acquisition and operational efficienc y.

    EVP:This opportunity will give a Full Stack Developer the opportunity to work at a very well known company that has recognized an area of improvement and is enhancing its team to meet the needs of brand new initiatives. The Insourced Solutions for Tax team is essentially acting as a start-up within the client.

    The client focuses on audit and assurance, tax and consulting services. Additionally, in the US, the client concentrates on 16 key industries and provides targeted services that include — but are not limited to — human resources, deals, forensics, and consulting services. We help resolve complex issues and identify opportunities.

    Non-Technical Skills: This person will be communicating with Clients as well as supporting both the functional and IT team with the client. Prior experience working with clients would be a major plus, and is encouraged.
