    About the team and the role:


    The Regional Facilities Operations Manager will lead all aspects of the day-to-day facility operations including hard and soft services and project management of smaller scale facility projects (less than $250k in value) In addition, this role will provide quality facility services to emulate industry standard processes and ensure a managed approach to receiving & resolving workplace maintenance & service complaints.


    What you will accomplish:

    • Closely partner with multiple business unit leaders, security teams, and third-party vendors to ensure the smooth operation of the offices.
    • Regularly visit and audit each location to ensure the highest levels of service;
    • Submit, review, and manage the facility expense and capital budgets, partnering closely with the Finance Team to remain within provided budget targets;
    • Proactively liaise with key partners both within Enterprise Management Resources (Real Estate, Space Planning, Design & Construction, EH&S) and across the company (HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Legal, Corporate Communications, eBay Brand) to ensure that facility goals and objectives are achieved;
    • Proactively identify and recommend initiatives that focus on service quality improvements, financial and operational efficiencies, risk mitigation, industry trends and other relevant factors that impact workplace effectiveness
    • Develop & implement standardized/standard methodology facility management processes to create long term efficiencies;
    • Partner with the eBay Sustainability Team on environmental standards for Bay Area facilities

    What you will bring:

    • 7+ years of facility management experience, with experience managing facilities for a technology company preferred.
    • BA/BS degree preferred in Facilities Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Design or Business
    • Great interpersonal communication skills, an enthusiastic and dynamic teammate, with a positive and "Can Do" attitude to get the job done
    • Ability to partner cross functionally and influence without authority
    • Understanding of financial management practices and budget planning procedures
    • Demonstrated success building teams and managing across multiple locations.
    • A persuasive and credible communicator who earns the trust of colleagues, customers, senior management, suppliers and contractors.
    • Proven experience in delivering to performance objectives, for scope, schedule and cost.
    • Self-motivated and performance driven; coupled with the willingness to take necessary actions to deliver on commitments
    • Effective vendor management, focused on the delivery of excellent customer service
    • Prioritize competencies and skills that are critical for success in the role beyond just education and / or previous employer
    • Communicate work location, travel, shifts, and overtime expectations.
    • Use gender-neutral inclusive language and avoid industry-specific jargon
    • Minimum of 5+ years of direct or indirect staff management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, technology focused office environment
    • Ability to travel as needed
    • Facilities certification (CFM, FMA, RPA, LEED, PMP certifications)

    The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

    $126,800 - $187,550

    Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.

    The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).

    Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.


    If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
