    Job DescriptionAs the Fuel Systems Staff Engineer, you will:

    Design and develop hardware that supports Advanced Technology projects and programsSupport fielded and NPI applications as requiredInterface with electrical, fluid, and controls engineers to ensure tasks are captured within the technology maturation needsManage hardware through the design process from initial concept through ground and flight testing with a focus on technology and manufacturing readinessDefine supplier design efforts with respect to technology and manufacturing readinessActively participate in internal and supplier design reviewsSupport engineering team members as required to ensure adherence to plansWork within a cross-functional team of design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure the components and system meets the application needsPresent technical and manufacturing readiness plans and status to internal and external stakeholdersRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.

    Minimum of 5 years' experience in disciplinary engineering and scienceDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan and execute programs.

    Proven facilitation and collaboration skillsFlexible and friendly approach to working in teamsInterest in being a self-starter focusing on problem solving techniques and driving solutionsHighly-motivated, passionateAbility to work within cross-functional teams to ensure the task is completedThis role requires access to U.S.

    export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
