    Job Description Summary


    This position involves joining a skilled team focused on developing future commercial aircraft engines for the aviation industry. You will collaborate with top airframers to establish requirements, advance designs, and define new engine proposals. Additionally, you will lead internal engineering teams to innovate and enhance technologies for GE Aerospace's next-generation aircraft engines, requiring a high level of autonomy.

    Job Description


    Roles and Responsibilities
    • Conducts component and product integration.
    • Manages product and systems requirements, specifications, and flow down.
    • Oversees validation and verification activities, including system-level testing.
    • Defines product requirements for teams and partners.
    • Manages interfaces between components and organizations.
    • Drives CTQ/Risk trades within component design teams.
    • Manages product configuration and control system.
    • Develops specialized knowledge in the field.
    • Serves as a quality resource.
    • Stays informed about technical developments in the industry.
    • Contributes to strategy and policy development.
    • Applies expertise to decision making and problem-solving.
    • Leads projects and collaborates with colleagues.
    • Builds consensus and influences others.
    • Develops persuasion skills to impact discussions.
    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
    • Minimum of 6 years of engineering design or systems integration experience.
    Desired Characteristics
    • Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
    • Proficient in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
