- Analyzes and reports on financial performance of the Company and required break outs of service lines, departments, or profit centers.
- Ensures compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations and requirements.
- Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
- Prepares forecasts and budgets to ensure company, service line, department, and/or profit center profitability.
- Trains and supervises finance, accounting, and billing staff personally or through subordinate supervisors.
- Provides training for company leadership as necessary to maintain appropriate levels of financial literacy.
- Develops and manages internal controls to ensure financial integrity, promote accountability, and prevent fraud.
- Maintains company financial software as necessary to perform duties.
- Develops and maintains relationships with Bankers, Investors, Owners, Stakeholders, and any other third party entities or individuals necessary to complete job duties.
- Monitors all financial activities.
- Promotes revenue growth.
- Directly supervises employees in the Finance Department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; master's degree preferred OR at least five years of applicable experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior management experience is preferred.
