_ We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team _As a pivotal part of our early team, you'll be responsible for running an FP&A function and ensuring execution of all related tasks. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this is an opportunity for someone who is excited by a fast-paced high growth environment, that wants to work towards a greater purpose and mission of supporting our communities from within.


What You'll do


As a Finance Manager at Diverge, you will work on strategic initiatives, operations, clinical/product support, corporate planning, fundraising, and more.

We are seeking someone who has a desire and experience leading and building a team, as part of a high growth company we anticipate this role may eventually become a people leader.

A successful Finance Manager will gain deep expertise across financial reporting, strategic planning and forecasting, budgeting, underwriting, risk-based healthcare financials, and ad-hoc analysis.


Key areas you'll add value:


  • Executing all aspects of periodic budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with Finance leadership, executive leadership, department heads, and operators.
  • Building, owning, and continuously improving detailed bottomsup operational and financial forecast models that inform nearterm budgets and longterm strategic planning.
  • Analyzing, synthesizing, preparing, and presenting insightful monthly financial and business performance results for executive leadership and board of directors.
  • Supporting the adjudication and remittance of Diverge's Practice Incentive Program.
  • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive cash flow model that illuminates cash runway and facilitates future capital raises.
  • Building Diverge's suite of financial reporting across market and corporate functions and interacting with leadership to manage adherence towards corporate goals.
  • Performing financial and operational adhoc analyses that provide decisionmaking support for executive leadership and enable profitable growth for Diverge.

What You Bring

  • 35 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or related field
  • Experience in healthcare, specifically within a riskbased entity is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related technical field.
  • Experience creating financial models, running scenario analysis, and sensitizing outcomes across a variety of functional areas and topics
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, maintain and clearly summarize detailed financial models
  • Ability and desire to work in a fastpaced startup environment with a strong desire to continuously learn
