    ACCOUNTING MANAGER

    ABOUT THE COMPANY:

    • We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our clients reputable organization. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations, managing the accounting team, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This individual will be responsible for maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

    OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

    • The Accounting manager will manage day-to-day accounting operations and supervise the accounting team.
    • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance.
    • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion and accuracy of financial records.
    • Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure the companys accounting practices remain in compliance.
    • The Accounting Manager will participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing valuable financial analysis and recommendations.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

    • Bachelors Degree in Accounting required
    • Public accounting and/or CPA or CMA required (ok if in testing process)
    • Someone that has an entrepreneurial spirit and likes the challenge of working in a dynamic company with the priorities constantly changing
