JOB OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for collaborative and communicative mediators who can help ensure a positive and fair workplace environment As Employee & Labor Relations Analyst, you will have the opportunity to represent management during meet and confer processes, grievances, disciplinary actions, and other labor and employee relations activities.
You will analyze a variety of situations to evaluate options, determine the best approach, make recommendations and implement policies.You will also advise staff on a range of labor and employee relations topics, such as policies, procedures, regulations, collective bargaining agreements, conflict resolution, and performance management.
The City of Berkeley currently maintains agreements with five unions representing over 1000 employees. Senior Human Resources Analysts perform more complex work and may be assigned to supervise the work of others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position is:
