    Description

    A top, International Logistics & Supply Chain client of ours is looking to expand their Operations team with an experienced Operations Manager. With a long history of providing excellent service to all of their customers, our client is looking for a seasoned, high level Ops Manager to push their business forward. In addition to providing an excellent salary, our client also provides unlimited PTO, top-notch benefits and a progressive environment that is focused on long-term growth. Based in Dallas, TX, this person must be comfortable coming into the office 2-3 days a week.

    As Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

    • People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues and resolving problems.
    • Administrative functions such as month-end documentation, oversee counseling and evaluations, and any other administrative duties required by the General Manager
    • Ensure support for Quality Improvement and Safety Meetings
    • Maintain Quality Compliance, ensure Metrics Compliance
    • Implements and reports on-going cost savings measures. Provides ideas and suggestions for more efficient operations.
    • Meets all client specified KPIs, and complies with Quality system requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a high school diploma or GED - Bachelor's Degree is preferred
    • 7+ years of operations experience in Logistics & Operations
    • Experience in both Import and Export
    • Experience with Ocean and Air Freight
    • 3+ years of managerial experience
