    We're Hiring an Operations Manager in Chicago, IL at TransLoop!

    Description

    We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead TransLoop's Customer Operations Team, including Operations Specialists, Enterprise Operations Specialist, and Account Growth Managers. Reporting to TransLoop's Director of Customer Success, you will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and collaborating with department leaders.

    This role demands strong communication, strategic thinking, attention to detail, operational agility, and organizational skills. Your primary objectives will include maintaining operational standards, managing team performance, and making decisions in line with TransLoop's long-term goals. Your impact will be felt both internally and externally.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive operational efficiency across Operations and Sales teams at TransLoop.
    • Uphold and enhance TransLoop's operational standards and reputation.
    • Lead and support direct reports to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
    • Make decisions that align with the company's best interests.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
    • 3-5 years of experience in 3PL Customer Operations.
    • Proven ability to manage teams and customer accounts effectively.
    • Familiarity with various market relationships in the truckload industry.
    • Strong coaching and feedback delivery skills.
    • Experience in handling operational tasks and resolving issues.
    • Track record of managing accounts successfully and building strong relationships.
    • Willingness to collaborate and problem-solve with colleagues.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Additional Skills

    • Proficiency in reporting.
    • Confidence in presenting to diverse stakeholders.
    • Ability to drive revenue growth and identify new opportunities.
    • Familiarity with various Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
