    Operations Manager at a major power center

    Company:
    Leading retail property management firm in West Jordan.


    Facility Management
    Shopping Center


    The main role is to execute the duties as the Operations Manager for the major power center.


    This role offers a competitive salary, potential for an annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefit package. It is based in West Jordan, UT, and includes a maintenance vehicle for on-site use.



    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure efficient daily operations of custodial, life safety, and general maintenance.
    • Manage services contracts and Capex projects bidding process.
    • Oversee fire control systems, annual inspections, and vendor quality control.
    • Respond promptly to tenant requests and collaborate with GM on Owner vs Tenant responsibilities.
    • Complete documentation accurately and on time.
    • Collaborate on annual budgets and project action plans with GM.
    • Assist with Marketing material installation, events setup, xmas decor, and special projects.
    • Perform regular inspections, reports, on-call emergency response, and tenant/landlord buildouts oversight.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Technical Degree + minimum 10 years of facilities management experience in large retail assets.
    • Knowledge of OSHA requirements, BOMA standards, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and fire/life safety systems.
    • Familiarity with real estate property management and construction contracts interpretation.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, and report preparation.

    • Detail-oriented with excellent communication, research, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Physically capable of performing tasks effectively.
