    TheBusiness Development Executive (BDE)focuses primarily on prospecting new accounts, cross selling and upselling existing accounts while servicing and maintaining clients.

    The BDE will be a point of contact for customer sales, daily inquiries and business concerns and will focus on the growth of the Medisca brandThe BDE builds and strengthens customer relationships, increases sales within the assigned territory and provides excellent service to customers and prospect new accounts.


    Location:
    Candidate should reside in Kentucky or North CarolinaYour key responsibilitiesNew Business DevelopmentSearch for potential clients, visit medical complexes and physicians / health care professionals and obtain referralsIdentify pharmacies (non-compounders / compounders) and successfully convert their business to MediscaIncrease Medisca's share of existing accountsLeverage existing health care compounding prescribers to increase Medisca's brandIdentify health care professionals and educate them on compounding to increase scriptsEncourage collaboration between physicians, pharmacists and MediscaMaintaining Existing Accounts & Relationship BuildingAttain monthly sales objectives and monitor profit marginsAnalyze territory trends and identify opportunitiesRegularly track and increase pharmacist businessFollow up with customers on sales and product availability
    • Inbound and outbound phone/emailSuggesting new revenue sources and productsEnsure clients data and calls are kept relevant and current in systemsProactively following up with clients to ensure that they always have the support they needGenerate Sales from Inactive & New CustomersCold call prospective customers & determine opportunities to create businessResearch new potential client options & follow up on referrals from existing clientsOpen new accounts & support onboardingWork collaboratively with Account ExecutivesDiscuss existing accounts with Account Executives & strategize on how to increase businessInform Account Executives of planning cycle to maximize synergies and account contactProvide leads and referrals to visitTravelClient visits, Tradeshows, Training and etc...
    This role will involve 2 weeks travel per month (flights, hotels, driving)What you bring to the jobCollege or University degree.

    Sales or Science background an assetMinimum three (3) years experience in a sales roleExperience as a pharmacy technician, knowledge of compounding or representative in pharmaceutical industryProven abilities in discovering opportunities, developing strategies and closing salesEffective organizational, time management and interpersonal skillsMemorable, dynamic & animatedExcellent communication and listening skills; fluent English (written & oral) required; Basic FrenchKnowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook) requiredWhat's in it for you...We invest time and resources into making sure Medisca is as good as the people we hire.
