- Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems of the facilities, new and renovation.
- Perform electrical engineering calculations, job walks, and estimate engineering costs.
- Create a complete set of electrical construction documents.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, owners and vendors.
- Stay well-informed of new technologies and industry best practices.
- Continuously improve and grow through feedback.
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required. P.E. in electrical engineering is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of hands-on electrical system engineering design and field experience are required.
- Established career in facility electrical system design and design/build projects.
- Competence in using AutoCAD for electrical system design/review.
- Competence in using software tools for data analysis, documentation, and project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Highly efficient in reading and understanding complicated technical specifications.
- Capable of working on multi-faceted engineering design projects of any magnitude individually. Excellent time-management skills to meet promised schedules and budgets and attention to detail are a must.
- 25% travel, able to climb ladders, and work at heights during the site visits.
