    A growing engineering firm has an immediate opening for an electrical engineer (PE) position in its Tulsa, Oklahoma, or Fayetteville, Arkansas office. You will perform all electrical engineering, design, details, plans, drawings, specifications, and reports for facility electrical engineering projects.     Responsibilities

    • Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems of the facilities, new and renovation.
    • Perform electrical engineering calculations, job walks, and estimate engineering costs.
    • Create a complete set of electrical construction documents.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
    • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, owners and vendors.
    • Stay well-informed of new technologies and industry best practices.
    • Continuously improve and grow through feedback.

    Skills and Requirements

    • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required. P.E. in electrical engineering is required.
    • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on electrical system engineering design and field experience are required.
    • Established career in facility electrical system design and design/build projects.
    • Competence in using AutoCAD for electrical system design/review.
    • Competence in using software tools for data analysis, documentation, and project management.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Highly efficient in reading and understanding complicated technical specifications.
    • Capable of working on multi-faceted engineering design projects of any magnitude individually. Excellent time-management skills to meet promised schedules and budgets and attention to detail are a must.
    • 25% travel, able to climb ladders, and work at heights during the site visits.
