Your Responsibilities

  • You create cost analyses and calculations according to the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) & Design for Assembly (DFA) method
  • You create theoretical process simulations based on sample parts and/or drawings (process analysis)
  • You support in creating cost transparency and continuously monitor, report, and optimize the components
  • You evaluate specifications, designs, and manufacturing processes, identify costsaving potentials, and determine optimal processes and product costs
  • You create photo documentation and record technical data and anomalies
  • You develop knowledge through product disassembly (reverse engineering), benchmarks, and research
  • You conduct cost structure analyses and determine shouldcost, based on technology scouting and knowledge of the supplier base, along the product development process with a strong focus on the early stages of product development

Your Profile

  • You are studying mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar field
  • You ideally have completed an apprenticeship
  • You have strong skills in MS Office programs and ideally have some experience with SAP
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • You are a team player and convince others with your communication skills, initiative, and strong presentation skills
