    Product Operations Manager, Marketplace - San Francisco, CA, United States - Uber

    About the RoleThe fundamental goal of Product Operations is to improve product impact on a global scale. Product Operations works closely with cross-functional partners to surface needs, prioritize, test, launch, and iterate on products/ metrics. This role will support Uber's Global Intelligence team.

    This team is responsible for sourcing data that helps us evaluate Uber's competitive position and translating this data into actionable insights for the business.


    What the Candidate Will Do:

    • Define the operating structure and processes to implement on our product strategy as an individual contributor on a highlyeffective product operations team
    • Lead a community of strategic leaders to encourage meaningful impact to the business
    • Maintain regular communications with key partners across the org
    • Ensure partners are aligned on key objectives for the programs/products they oversee
    • Advise product teams on the global feasibility of products throughout the product lifecycle
    • Develop an endtoend product rollout plan, and projectmanage implementation
    • Collaborate with key partners (legal, tax, policy, support etc) to prepare the product for launch
    • Track core business metrics related to the product
    • Identify key problem areas and/or geographies impacted by the product postlaunch
    • Surface and advocate for key insights from the business to advise product improvements

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate degree
    • At least 2+ years of relevant job experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in designing and implementing complex programs across large, geographically distributed teams
    • Running a product planning cycleFor San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$133,000 per year
    • USD$148,000 per year.

    You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
