Reporting to the VP, Charter Services, the Sales & Marketplace Operations Manager will help drive the growth of this new and critical part of the company.

It's an opportunity to join this team at the ground floor and drive a real impact as we build out the business in our current markets while soon expanding to a number of other markets across the country.

We're looking for an ambitious self-starter who can support this line of business through a consistent focus on process improvement and converting market research and insights into an actionable roadmap.

We're looking for an excellent communicator and seasoned problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to have a direct impact to help us realize growing revenue targets and address Go-to-Market challenges and opportunities.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop a deep understanding of Zum's charter business and how we operate to create a highperforming sales and marketplace function for the charter business.
  • Design, launch, and consistently improve scalable processes that will drive growth in existing markets as well support our expansion to new markets across the country.
  • Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams across the country from sales to local market teams and GMs to product to finance.
  • Own weekly/monthly/quarterly business line reporting, market research and insights for the business line. Help drive the QBR process.
  • Be a strategic partner to shape and drive the charter business line strategy, including goalsetting and measurement, and identification of gaps and opportunities for focus.
  • Support multiyear growth efforts by driving market research to inform and prioritize how we build sales capacity and execute on company goals.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 57+ years of work experience in business or marketplace operations, finance, management consulting, or several years experience in a scaling startup. MBA or advanced degree is a nice to have.
  • Selfstarter who can learn on the fly, manage and prioritize through ambiguity, and drive initiatives from ideation to end outcomes. Bias for action.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to form effective relationships across all functions and at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to look at an issue from multiple angles. Ability to operate across SQL, spreadsheets, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with GTM strategy. Demonstrated ability to design and successfully implement new processes at scale.
  • Track record of proactively improving existing processes within organizations.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing, comfortable in business and technical discussions.
The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.

The targeted pay range for this role in US CA is:
$148k - $162k
