    ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – Full Time

    Arnold & Arnold, LLP Attorneys at Law

    Salary $80,000 – $100,000

    Flexible working hours (remote work possible)

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Arnold & Arnold, LLP is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney who is licensed in the state of Colorado and has litigation experience; tenacious, perceptive, and willing to take on multiple tasks to assist in managing a diverse case load. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for working directly with partners and support staff to ensure that all matters are handled in an efficient and professional manner. Associate Attorney will perform a variety of legal work primarily focused within Arnold & Arnold, LLP's construction law, commercial collections, and real estate practice, with the opportunity to learn estate planning and estate administration (probate).

    MAJOR JOB DUTIES:

    · Conduct legal research, factual investigation, and analysis on a variety of legal topics related to construction law, commercial collections, real estate transactions, litigation, and mechanic's liens.

    · Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, contracts, disclosures, and settlement agreements.

    · Prepare and revise all documents related to the preparation of mechanic's liens in the State of Colorado.

    · Prepare, revise, and assemble pleadings for litigation.

    · Gather and organize evidence and discovery as needed.

    · Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and business transactions.

    · Communicate with clients to understand their legal concerns, provide advice, strategize on resolutions, and enlighten on legal options and possible outcomes.

    · Represent clients at meetings, hearings, arbitration, mediation, and trials.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    · Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people such as clients, court personnel, other attorneys, and support staff.

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    · Strong project management skills.

    · Must be able to work independently and with a team; ability to prioritize and respond to deadlines.

    · Proficient in Microsoft Office products, law firm practice management software, and time-keeping software.

    · Proficient in e-filing, e-recording, and certified mailing.

    · Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and be willing to submit to a background check and sign a confidentiality agreement.

    PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    · 3 plus years of experience in construction, mechanics liens, real estate, breach of contract and/or collections litigation.

    · Minimum of one year of litigation/trial experience preferred.

    EDUCATION REQUIRED

    · Accredited Law Degree

    · Admission to the State Bar of Colorado
