    K?STA I.T is actively seeking a Sr Systems Administrator foran immediate contract engagement with our government client.

    Job Description:

    We're in search of a seasoned VMware System Administrator (SysAdmin) Consultant with a strong background in HP Hardware running VMware vSphere virtualization, RedHat Servers, Puppet Infrastructure Automation & Compliance, Veeam Backups, Kubernetes containers, IBM Websphere, Microsoft Windows Servers, Certificate Management, and various virtualized web server and database server technologies. The ideal candidate should be proactive, creative, and adept at problem-solving both independently and collaboratively. Communication skills are crucial for interacting with fellow IT team members and Court users. This role is pivotal in maintaining the security, efficiency, and continuous operation of our infrastructure, which operates 24/7.

    Required Skills:
    • Extensive experience in the field
    • Demonstrated proficiency in managing VMware vSphere virtualized Server Systems across multiple data centers
    • Advanced RedHat System and User Administration skills
    • Proficiency with Veeam Backup and Restore Activities
    • Familiarity with Puppet Infrastructure Automation & Compliance
    • Knowledge of Digital Certificate Management, including Self Signed certificates
    • Experience in installing and managing Web-based and Database Technologies such as IBM Websphere, IBM Informix, Kubernetes containers, Microsoft Windows Servers, etc.
    • Thorough understanding of system-level permissions, scripting, troubleshooting, auditing, backup & disaster recovery, networking, and expertise in typical virtualized infrastructure management technologies.
    Nice to Have:

    Preference will be given to candidates with experience in scripting for system management and workload automation.
