    The Research Project Coordinator work with principal investigators to submit and maintain the research protocol to IRB, conduct data management, coordinate the efforts with internal and external partners, perform data analysis and contribute to the manuscript writing.

    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent If any degree major/training is required, please specify the type

    Health Science or related field

    (Will consider six years related education and/or experience combined of which two years must include related post high school education)

    Project management experience to include data collection or data management

    Ability to work independently; effective oral and written communication skills; effective interpersonal, organizing, and collaboration skills; proficiency in use of computers, including MS Office applications and databases; and ability to meet deadlines are strongly desired.

    Relevant work experience in university research or research administration will also be valuable, as well as awareness of federal compliance regulations and guidelines for grants and contracts, proficiency in technical writing, editing, and proofreading.


    Preferred Education:
    Master's degree If any degree/training is preferred, please specify the type:

    Epidemiology, Psychology, Economics, Statistics, Public Health, Neuroscience, Biomedical Informatics.

    PhD in Health Promotion, Epidemiology, Psychology, Economics, Statistics, or Public Health.


    Preferred Experience:

    • Proficient in analyzing public data sets, including PATH, ABCD, NYTS, BRFSS, YRBSS, NHANES.
    • Experienced in implementing machine learning algorithms, particularly random forest, using R.
    • Willing to learn new concepts and undergo training to acquire new skills. Open to adapting coding practices from provided training materials.
    • Previous experience in university research or research administration is advantageous, along with skills in technical writing, editing, and proofreading.
    • Strong writing skills for summarizing findings from literature reviews, coding survey variables, and analyzing longitudinal data using SAS, R, or Mplus.
    • Open to receiving training in R or Mplus using existing software packages.
