Management 

 Mentor, coach, and train area supervisors/management in Lean Six Sigma tools such as data collection and analysis, process mapping, process redesign, and implementation. Informally mentor all agency employees on Lean Six Sigma ideas.

Procurement

 Negotiated contracts (concentrating on pricing and volumes) with suppliers that exceeded over $80 million dollars. 

 Planned, designed and distributed reports to vendors to ensure the organization’s manufacturing plant inventories were at proper levels to meet anticipated needs. 

 Led conference calls/meetings with vendors and internal facility managers to assure customer needs were met in the most efficient, cost effective manner. 

 Advised and educated staff on procedures and issues related to SAP conversion. 

Collections

 Managed collection activities for 150+ customer accounts and $60 million dollar customer base. 

 Coordinated collection activities with cross-functional areas including sales, customer service, shipping/logistics, and accounting. 

 Assisted customers with problem resolution including billing, service, negotiation, contract, and quality issues. 

Sales 

 Recognized as the Top Inside Sales Specialist for 2014. 

 Administer and manage $9 million in annual sales in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager for Valmont Tubing in Valley. 

 Processed all order requests and credits that apply. 

 Provide management shipments of customer’s orders; earned over a 90% satisfaction ranking from customers for orders being delivered on time.

 Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale resulting increased market share.
