    Description

    Join Acorn Distributors, a leading distributor of disposable paper and plastic, janitorial supplies, chemicals, and a variety of foodservice products. We cater to a range of industries including Education, Healthcare, Government, Lodging, Commercial, Property Management, Restaurants, and Catering.

    Acorn Distributors is on the lookout for an ambitious and competitive Sales Consultant to drive new account sales and expand existing business relationships. In this role, you will uncover fresh opportunities, pursue potential leads, and implement a strategic sales approach.

    As an Acorn Distributor Sales Consultant, you will:

    • Act as both a hunter and farmer of accounts, growing your client base and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders
    • Devise tailored sales strategies to address customer needs
    • Deliver engaging presentations to both prospective and current clients
    • Capture the interest of new clients by showcasing our premium products post hands-on training
    • Explore new business prospects through various channels such as social media, the web, and industry-specific publications
    • Meet and exceed sales targets with a customized success plan
    • Receive full support from our internal team to surpass customer expectations
    • Enjoy autonomy in managing your schedule and route, operating independently
    • Demonstrate expert product knowledge to recommend solutions from our extensive catalog
    • Collaborate with our vendor partners to stay updated on product offerings
    • Negotiate agreements and supervise new account setups
    • Participate in regular sales meetings

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in sales
    • Highly motivated with exceptional communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build and sustain professional networks
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales Management, or a related field
    • Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
