    Description
    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Pace of Southwest Michigan.

    In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

    Requirements:
    Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.

    Experience:
    Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis.

    Special Training:
    Only acts within scope of practice.

    Meet a standardized set of orientation and/or individual competencies for the specific position description established by PACE of Southwest Michigan, and approved by CMS before working independently.


    Specific Requirements and Considerations:
    May be subject to exposure and handling of infectious waste, diseases, conditions or hazardous chemicals, etc.

    Adult, Geriatric

    Conducts financial analysis and prepares reports for management.

    • Creates and maintains financial models to support sound decision-making.
    • Attend monthly senior leadership meetings to present budget to actual detail.
    • Identifies trends, opportunities, and risks utilizing financial data.
    • Analyzes and audits accounts payable to verify accuracy and identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase cash flow.
    • Provides recommendations for improving financial performance.
    • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
    Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

    • Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel skills, and comfortability utilizing Word, Outlook, and accounting software.
    • Knowledge of principles of accounting/finance.
    • Proficient in data management systems.
    • Advanced user of MS Excel for spreadsheet analytics.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
    • Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
    • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
    The employee must be able to travel in all kinds of weather.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently move up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands expected while providing medical care for an elderly population.
