    Engagement Manager (Digital Analytics), Technology

    Role Overview

    As an Engagement Manager in Fractal's Technology practice, catering to some of the world's most innovative technology companies, you will play a pivotal role to solve our client's strategic, complex and multi-faceted problems by leveraging best in class solutions across data analytics, machine learning, generative AI, behavioral science and human centered design. Drawing from your experience solving complex problems for large enterprises at the forefront of innovation, you will help Fractal further establish itself as a trusted partner and industry thought leader.

    You have a T-shaped profile - deep expertise in data driven solutions - and a strong drive to learn new skills, collaborate with subject matter experts and integrate modular solutions towards a holistic outcome. You will leverage your first principles problem solving skills, knowledge of consulting frameworks, ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to consistently deliver innovative solutions with robust project management

    Responsibilities

    • Outcome ownership - assume responsibility for the quality and timeliness of engagement outcomes
    • Strategic partnership - deeply understand client context (team, company, industry) to contextualize the solutions for best outcome
    • Project management - scope each project (deliverables, timelines, dependencies) effectively and employ agile approaches to rapidly iterate towards the optimal solutions
    • Subject matter expertise - confidently guide the teams and influence stakeholders with expertise in at least one of the following and high-level understanding of the remaining focus areas: data science, analytics, strategy, design thinking, technology sector, digital analytics, customer marketing, Generative AI
    • Team leadership - build, lead and grow multi-skilled, globally situated team and mentoring them for continued learning and innovation
    • Communication - craft compelling narratives on PPT/ Keynote and effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders with excellent written and verbal communication
    • Thought leadership - champion continuous innovation and establish Fractal's brand by authoring case studies, whitepapers and presenting in industry forums
    • Growthorientation - power the growth of Technology practice by leading prospect conversations as the subject matter expert and crafting compelling value propositions
    Skills and Qualifications
    • Master's or equivalent education in quantitative field of study (science, engineering, math)
    • Minimum 6 years of total work experience
    • Minimum 4 years of work experience within analytics/ data science domain
    • Minimum 2 years of work experience leading projects/ consulting engagements
    • Demonstrated hands-on experience with advanced analytics and data science tools (Python + SQL preferred) and algorithmic knowledge (machine learning, hypothesis testing, natural language processing)
    • Agile, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic consulting environment
    • Humble, hungry and smart
    • Preference given to San Francisco Bay Area candidates
    Pay:

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $130,000 to $200,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.

    Benefits:

    As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a "free time" PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take the time needed for either sick time or vacation.
