Volunteer and Corporate Engagement Manager

Summary of Job:


The Volunteer & Corporate Engagement Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of volunteer programs, including recruitment, training, and scheduling, with an emphasis on corporate cultivation and stewardship.

This position also serves as HPP's primary corporate engagement liaison.

The Volunteer and Corporate Engagement Manager also acts as a primary point of contact for corporate partners and serves as HPP's corporate representative at events as needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Corporate Engagement:


  • With the Director of Development, plan, develop and execute strategies to cultivate and steward corporate partnerships.
  • Manage, build and strengthen a corporate partner portfolio and engagement calendar.
  • Lead all corporate engagement activities, working with other staff as appropriate.
  • Lead and manage corporate involvement in fundraising events.
  • Represent agency at corporate speaking engagements and events.

Volunteer Management:


  • Coordinate and manage volunteer opportunities, especially volunteers for Friday morning food distributions (inperson).
  • Host volunteer engagements with agency education components.
  • Work with crossdepartment staff to coordinate volunteer activities.

Administration:


  • Manage external communications related to volunteer and corporate engagement opportunities.
  • Lead database maintenance, reporting and acknowledgment processes related to these sectors.

Qualifications:


  • 13 years demonstrated ability and experience in volunteer and/or development experience.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable professionally presenting in front of people.
  • Proficient in Google Workplace.
  • Experienced with social media channels and skilled with social media strategies.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in volunteer and database (CRM) management.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to work under stress and handle multiple project deadlines.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
California Driver's license and insurance preferred, not required.

Fast-paced, multi-cultural, collaborative work environment


Hours:
Full time - 39 hours/week.


Salary:
$90,247 + excellent benefits package

HPP helps families become healthy, stable and self-sufficient.

We focus on the social determinants of health, supporting both parents and children in order to strengthen the whole family.

With services ranging from emergency support to intensive case management, the agency partners with parents to address family needs during the critical years from pregnancy through kindergarten.
