    Description

    Job Title: Private Client Specialist at TD Bank

    The Private Client Specialist plays a crucial role as a high-touch point of client contact responsible for meeting the unique and complex needs of clients in the high net worth segment. Acting as the primary contact for HNW clients across banking, lending, and High Net Worth Investing, the specialist brings expertise in banking and lending to the table. They collaborate with Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors, and Trust Advisors to deliver proactive client service aimed at achieving a greater share of wallet. Additionally, the Private Client Service Associate supports other team members and ensures consistent and accurate administrative, analytical, and service support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate customer-centric commitment for legendary service during every interaction to drive retention and growth
    • Ensure new clients have a complete onboarding experience
    • Actively work on technical skills to advance to a senior role
    • Handle complex financial transactions efficiently
    • Provide support and expertise to the Client Associate team
    • Maximize client profitability and ensure minimum required threshold is met/exceeded
    • Identify business opportunities among existing customers
    • Execute a differentiated service model for HNW clients
    • Collaborate with specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise for complex clients
    • Identify and refer business opportunities
    • Adhere to regulations, policies, and procedures

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of an Associates or Bachelors degree
    • At least 2 years of related experience in the financial industry
    • Series 7, 63/65 or 66 registrations required
    • Knowledge of investments, banking, and credit products
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and excel at administration
    • Experience in professional services and with affluent clients
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Contact Management databases
