- Ensures timely processing of orders.
- Following the standard order processing procedure this position will work with customized made to order equipment and a subset of products.
- Supports the standard order processing procedure while working with customized made to order equipment as well as a subset of products. Specialized equipment processing will also involve interaction with drafting, engineering and 3rd party modifiers.
- Processes change orders following the change order process and guidelines.
- Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Fields incoming calls to deal with mitigation of delays within production, shipping and delivery of products. Also deals with short shipments, damages and product defects.
- Assures effective and efficient handling of calls and timely processing of orders.
- Acts as the primary customer contact regarding pricing, shipping and negotiation of order scheduling as well as coordinating specialized delivery requirements.
- Manages the freight claims process.
- Handles various special projects

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum Two years customer service experience

- Basic computer knowledge, Outlook, Word, Excel experience (Tech Savvy)
