    Description

    Hydraquip is in search of an individual who is eager to make a valuable contribution to our key clients and partners and become a part of our 100% employee-owned business. Hydraquip has presence in various locations including TX, LA, OK, CO, and TN, offering solutions for motion control in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric-powered applications.

    The role of Customer Service Representative is crucial in overseeing major accounts at Hydraquip in collaboration with external sales representatives, and purchasing and warehouse teams. This role involves tasks such as order processing, communication with clients via phone and email, and providing support for order and delivery management.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain communication with clients via phone and email
    • Acquire knowledge about products and vendors to enhance proficiency in Hydraquip's offerings and partnerships
    • Handle quotations, order processing, updates, expediting, and product-related issues for assigned clients
    • Interact with internal and external contacts to address delivery requirements
    • Assist outside sales in managing inquiries, orders, and deliveries for major clients
    • Identify potential sales opportunities from interactions with both new and existing customers
    • Support and engage in the organizational improvement program to comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards by following the Quality Policy and procedures and achieving QMS objectives
    • Other duties as assigned
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Experience in customer communication via phone and email
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, basic Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with order entry systems are beneficial
    • Prior exposure to technical products and ISO 9001 environments is advantageous
      • Knowledge and Skills
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills with a proactive approach
    • Openness to learning about technical products and manufacturers
    • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other departments
    • Effective communication skills for conveying technical information clearly and concisely
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer projects and ensure comprehensive documentation and communication
