    Job DescriptionDescriptionDescription:
    As a Public Relations Assistant at TMZ Events, you'll be instrumental in enhancing our brand's reputation and fostering positive relationships with the media and the public. Your role will involve supporting the PR team in executing strategic communication initiatives and managing media relations.
    Key Responsibilities
    Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of public relations strategies to promote TMZ Events and our clients.
    • Draft press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials to share news and announcements.
    • Maintain media contact lists and establish relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
    • Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings, reports, and analysis.
    • Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and other media events.
    • Manage social media platforms, engaging with followers and monitoring conversations.
    • Assist in crisis communication efforts and reputation management as needed.
    • Support internal communication efforts to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
    • Previous experience in public relations, media relations, or a related role is preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with media monitoring tools.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and stakeholders.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand advocacy.
