    One of our group homes in Farmingdale, NJ is seeking a qualified and caring person to work as a Team Leader.

    Successful applicants will attend paid training to obtain required certifications.

    Team Leader Schedule:

    Various shifts and locationsAdvancement opportunitiesResponsibilities Include:
    Plan and execute individual served doctors appointmentsAssist in crisis situationsAssist in coordinating staffing coverageMentor/teach Direct Support Professionals how to work with individuals servedMonitor individuals served spending moneyMonitor proper diet and meal plan of person servedProtect and honor the rights of people with disabilitiesEnsuring a safe and clean home for people servedDevelop a positive rapport while serving as a role model to create a safe and caring environmentAssists the Program Coordinator in supervising, supporting and training DSPsDocument data displaying the individual served goals and progressionAssist in finding and participating in meaningful community activitiesParticipate in on-going professional training

    General Qualifications:

    At least one year of management experienceExperience working with developmentally disabled populationReliable transportationValid auto insurance and drivers licenseHigh school diploma or GEDBenchmark Human Services is an EOE/AAP Employer.
