- Review billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies.
- Work closely with A/R clerk on aged invoices to keep customer accounts current.
- Will work with A/R posting payments on days A/R clerk is not in office.
- May assist with answering telephones, and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, especially Excel.
- Must be a self-starting problem solver.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bookkeeping training preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
