Job Duties
- Specifically, you will:
- Provide tech support with VTC and AV connections, troubleshooting, and scheduling
- Procurement, activation, training, support, and record keeping with VDOT Mobile Communications Use Memo
- Use troubleshooting tools and managing agency mobile devices
- Gather & analyze data and prepare reports
- Deliver exemplary customer service
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to gather, analyze data and prepare reports.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working and interpersonal relationships with all divisions and customers.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with individuals and groups.
- Skill in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Desktop products (Windows, SharePoint, Outlook, Exchange, and MS Office Suite)
- Ability to prioritize, organize multiple demands in a continuously changing environment and meet established deadlines.
- Skill in the use of troubleshooting tools, managing and administering wireless devices.
- Capability to work with minimum supervision and act as lead when the need arises.
Additional Considerations
- Experience with Microsoft Desktop products, wireless devices and VTC equipment.
- A combination of training, experience, or education in Telecommunications, Information Systems or related field desired.
Special Instructions
Once onboarded, this position may be eligible for telework opportunities; availability, hours, and duration of telework shall be approved as outlined in the Commonwealth telework policy.
