    Job Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant Role:

    • Manage and organize accounting records, including project expenses, ledgers, and financial documentation.
    • Analyze financial data to recognize patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost efficiency.
    • Provide support during the budgeting process.
    • Coordinate with project managers to monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budgets.
    • Handle invoice processing, payments, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulations.
    • Participate in both internal and external audit procedures.
    • Contribute to enhancing operational efficiency by developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.

    Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Role:

    • Additional Skills:
    • Prior experience in the construction industry is a bonus.
    • Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
    • Education:
    • An accounting degree is advantageous but not compulsory.
    • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
