- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report regularly to senior management on financial performance.
- Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of construction and craftsmanship. Conduct regular site inspections and address any quality issues promptly.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Proactively address challenges related to permits, regulations, and environmental factors.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative working environment and ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing project updates, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the development process.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure projects comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards. Obtain necessary permits and approvals in a timely manner.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Prepare comprehensive project reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- 10+ years of Project Management experience
- MBA or Master's Degree preferred, but not required
- Degree in Construction or a related field required
- Degree in Business or related will also be considered with construction or development experience
- Strong communication skills - ability and desire to be client-facing
- Knowledge of construction practices
- Ability to work on jobs valued up to or north of $20M
