    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    MassAbility IT team supporting MassAbility within the Executive Office of Health and Human Services is seeking a Project Manager. The person hired for this position should have technical project management experience supporting IT systems implementation projects including but not limited to: requirements, design, development, testing and rollout. The system that the project is implementing is an enterprise eligibility determination and case management solution is called OneMRC and is built on a SaaS framework. The person hired will report directly to the Assistant Chief Information Officer and be embedded in the work with MassAbility.
    EHS-IT is looking for a well-organized, result-driven candidate who possesses leadership qualities.
    This is a Hybrid position where the primary work location for this role will be at 600 Washington St, Boston, Massachusetts The work schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM EST. The incumbent may also be requested to travel to MassAbility area offices within the Commonwealth of MA.
    DETAILED LIST OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The role of a Senior Technical Project Manager involves various responsibilities that revolve around overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of a technical project.
    • Collaborate with both business stakeholders and IT resources to develop comprehensive project plans with detailed milestones and activities outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and requirements.
    • Engage with stakeholders to determine project expectations, goals and outcomes to then define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Report status and risks on a regular basis to stake holders and EOHHS agency business leadership and develop risk mitigation strategies.
    • Coordinating project activities for adherence to project plan and goals and facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
    • Provide single point accountability and project leadership in conjunction with MRC and EHS IT leadership.
    • Monitoring results against established timelines, deliverables, tasks, dependencies and associated technical specifications
    • Developing detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, project checklists and budgets to meet established time frames, funding limitations and staffing availability
    • Preparing comprehensive supporting plans in the areas of quality control, risk management, change management, testing and other associated project management areas
    • Communicate with external stakeholders and internal partners to resolve issues related to claims processing, customer service, and other topics as needed
    • Adhering to established Commonwealth policy and procedures with respect to project management methodology quality assurance and other related standards
