    Description

    Think Consulting is currently seeking an Executive Vice President of Finance to join a direct access trading firm specializing in domestic equities trading in New York, NY. This role offers a hybrid work schedule with on-site presence required Tuesday through Thursday.

    Responsibilities:

    • Directly report to the CEO and oversee financial and accounting procedures.
    • Identify areas for process enhancement and collaborate with leadership for proposed changes.
    • Perform precise P&S and margin calculations for accurate data reconciliation.
    • Generate financial statements and maintain records for the Broker-Dealer in alignment with GAAP.
    • Assist in financial analysis, report preparation, and recommendation making with the CFO.
    • Ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes and propose strategic adjustments, overseeing their execution.
    • Cultivate relationships with key external stakeholders and provide insights to various organizational segments.
    • Oversee tax planning and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other tax regulations.
    • Execute or assist in various responsibilities including FOCUS Reports, Net Capital Computations, and Annual Audit Support.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and Series 27 certification are required.
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in broker-dealer operations or Finance.
    • Expertise in broker-dealer operations and regulatory reporting, including SEC requirements.
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and discretion in handling sensitive information.
    • Prior experience across diverse domains such as Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Risk Management is advantageous.

    Salary Range: $200,000 - $240,000 plus 10% to 15% annual bonus
