- Ensure the company and leaders comply with all applicable rules and regulations relating to workforce and personnel-related areas.
- Administer benefit plans including annual plan renewals and employee open enrollment.
- Assist with the development of performance and training goals.
- Review, recruit, hire, and train employees.
- Conduct exit interviews.
- Review and recommend HR vendors and other outside sources.
- Develop and implement new HR policies and strategies.
- Develop and manage the quarterly and annual performance review/evaluation process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, business administration, communications, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources management, staff functions, and activities.
- Previous experience working for a non-profit preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of payroll and employee-related benefits and labor requirements.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
