Greetings,

Our manufacturing client is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative. This is a fulltime, direct hire employee, position in Addison, IL with competitive compensation, generous benefits and career growth opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
Works with planning and production to provide production status to customer
Respond to customer inquiries and request for quotes
Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
Works closely with the accounting department to resolve disputed items and returns.
Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns. Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer's service expectations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
Interact with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
Respond promptly to customer inquiries
Handle and resolve customer complaints
Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
Provide pricing and delivery information as required
Set up new customer accounts
Process orders, forms, applications and requests
Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
Manage customers' accounts
Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
Prepare and distribute customer activity reports
Maintain customer databases
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
Follow up on customer interactions
Perform customer account analysis win/ loss tracking
Other projects as assigned.

What you need to bring to this winning team:

2-5 years of progressive experience as a customer service or sales agent in a contract manufacturing environment.
Proficient in MS Office Suite
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience using an ERP system

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
