    Job Summary

    A great opportunity exists for an experienced Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Engineer for the Li-Cycle Hub in Rochester, NY.


    The CMMS Engineer configures and manages software systems essential to the Maintenance department so that technical team members can conduct their responsibilities efficiently.

    The position will be working closely with cross functional managers in support of company's overall operating goals and objectives.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Maintain clear, consistent, and updated lines of communication across all parts of the Maintenance department, customer departments throughout the organization, and outside parties such as vendors and contractors

    Be the CMMS champion and acting on-site administrator for the Hub


    Duties to include:
    Total Database management of the CMMS and other asset data systems in use

    Monitor and manage all integrations between the CMMS, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and other asset data systems in use

    Act as Point of Contact in the creation and management with IT on any Work Order generation with Software as a Service (SaaS) providers

    Act as an integral part of the design and creation of all Asset Management templates, data tables, Graphical User Interface (GUI) screens, relationships, reports, integrations, analytics, and Artificial intelligence (AI) processes within the CMMS

    Manage and execute data uploads

    Manage Maintenance of Certification (MOC) processes for the CMMS and its integrations

    Other Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting, as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

    The CMMS Engineer will be an essential member of the Reliability team of the Hub


    Job Duties will include:
    Create reports and dashboards in the CMMS that track important KPI's to drive improvement of equipment reliability

    Improves equipment reliability through the analysis and reporting of existing data, and by finding new ways of gathering data that support improved equipment uptime


    Champion all integrations with the CMMS and ERP as they relate to software systems that the Maintenance and Reliability team will employ.

    These may include vibration analysis, InfraRed scanning auditing software, tool control programs, analytics from SaaS systems connected to devices throughout the facility, etc.

    Create reports, dashboards, and trends from the analytics data historians, "data lake", and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) - based ancillary systems, as well as uses the same streams to drive condition-based maintenance in the CMMS

    Managing Shutdown Logging, Inventory and shared calendar for the Maintenance Department

    Managing and updating the Master Calendar (Microsoft Project) Gantt chart, which holds long-term scheduling of Overhauls, Inspections & Large Projects

    Involved in contract management as required

    Provide new and existing user training regarding Maintenance Systems use and operation

    Job Qualifications

    4-year Industrial Technical Degree or Reliability Engineering preferred

    RCM based educational training with a Reliability Certification; Certified Reliability and Maintenance Professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), Reliability and Maintainability Implementation Certification (RMIC) is preferred

    Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in a maintenance, mechanical or similar type position preferred

    General Computer Application Experience:
    Microsoft Office 2011 or greater, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Google Office or comparable, Adobe Acrobat and/or others.

    Minimum of 5 years of CMMS/ERP Software experience (MAXIMO and ORACLE are preferred)

    Minimum of 5 years experience working in a large team within a service, construction or maintenance coordination environment

    Working Conditions

    Working outside regardless of weather conditions

    Walking over a large area with multiple ladders to traverse

    Participation in weekend coverage duty rotation

    May encounter Nickel and or Nickel containing products. (Nickel allergies are very common)

    Wear required PPE for full duration of work-shift: nitrile or other types of gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hard hat or bump cap, and coveralls

    Additional PPE may be required infrequently, acid suit, respirator, face shield, etc.

    Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals

    Some travel maybe required

    Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. Rarely required to lift up to 50 pounds

    The salary range for this opportunity is estimated between $85 and $108 annually
