Job Summary
Bowdoin College is located in Brunswick Maine with a student population of almost 2000. We make everything from scratch and are consistently rated in the top 10 for college dining We have our own butcher shop, bakeshop, and organic garden that all supply food to our 2 dining halls and 3 retail locations.
This position supports our Catering department. Under supervision of the Culinary Manager, Operations Manager, and with input from the Catering Manager, and Assistant Manager, the Catering Supervisor provides organizational support for the successful implementation of Dining catering processes. This position will act as team leader, responsible for logistical planning, catering steward assignments, transportation and set up of food, beverages, and equipment for catering events. This position will also serve as a dining contact and service provider during catering functions. Depending on assignment, this position may supervise dish room staff and other event catering staff.
Pay rate: $25.00 – $27.00/per hour +$500 sign-on bonus (1⁄2 paid at first check, and 1⁄2 paid after 90 days of eligibility requirements are met).
