    Job Description

    Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee our compliance operations, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations as well as city requirements. This role is critical in maintaining our company's reputation and operational integrity through meticulous management of forms, dealings with the Department of Labor (DOL), the Treasury Department, city registrations, and tax-related obligations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures across 40 states to ensure adherence to telecommunications regulations.
    • Manage and oversee the completion and submission of all required compliance documentation, including forms related to the DOL and Treasury Department.
    • Coordinate with local, state, and federal government entities to ensure all city registrations are maintained and compliant.
    • Handle various administrative tasks associated with compliance processes.
    • Lead the preparation and submission of tax documents related to telecommunications operations.
    • Stay abreast of new laws and regulations that may impact the company; advise on compliance matters.
    • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Liaise with internal departments to ensure compliance issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
    • Train and educate staff on compliance protocols and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
    • Thorough understanding of state and federal regulatory requirements applicable to the telecommunications sector.
    • Proven ability to manage large-scale compliance operations across multiple states.
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to resolving issues and mitigating risks.
    Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
