Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Recruiting Coordinator to join our team and support our talent acquisition efforts. This role will play a crucial part in attracting and hiring top talent for our organization. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for open positions.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for candidates and interviewers.
Assist with the implementation of new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
Maintain compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
Stay updated on trends, best practices, and new technologies in recruiting and talent acquisition.
Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
Assist with maintaining candidate and employee data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
Team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Customer service-oriented with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in recruiting or HR is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of recruiting tools and platforms is a plus.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems quickly.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
