    Hillandale Farms is in search a Coordinator-Logistics to join our team in Bozrah, CT Location

    Essential Job Function
    • Assist Manager in coordinating all inbound and outbound scheduling.
    • Assign and communicate daily/weekly route selections to all Fleet Drivers.
    • Coordinate inter-company equipment movement.
    • Address errors to promote customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate specialty shipping arrangements when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
    • Track and follow-up on shipments/pickups to ensure OTIF (On Time in Full).
    • Prepare BOL's and invoices destined for the Accounts Receivables Team.
    • Occasional weekend work tracking shipments and needed customer communication.
    • Performs other job related duties as required to meet operational needs.

    Qualification

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous Shipping/Receiving or Logistics experience preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail. Bi-lingual preferred.
    • Possess an understanding of geographical territories and traffic patterns.
    • Possess quick critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with internal and external customers.

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, squatting, twisting, pushing pulling, lifting overhead.
    • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
