    Description


    This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in a team-focused, detail-oriented role that will manage the administration and support of purchasing, contract and inventory logistics and tracking of seed and chemicals for 6 Federated Agronomy locations.

    This position will report to the Director of Agronomy Operations.

    This position will work with the Division Director, Manager and vendors to coordinate and track product movement and compliance across the organization.


    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Core Duties:
    Manage tracking of purchasing, contracts, inventory and logistics.
    Ensure all purchases are accurately entered into tracking spreadsheets and systems database.
    Administration the receipt and entry of Load numbers
    Support team member inquiries around product inventory and pricing.
    Facilitate requests for allocation of product / inventory to fertilizer plants across the company.
    Support the development of the annual chemical/seed Agronomy plan documentation.
    Track and communicate program activities including product type, volume demand (collectively and by location) contracts, BOL, load numbers etc.
    Coordinate meetings for vendors, products and services by coordinating with management team.
    Coordinate all state and federal compliance requirements including Product and equipment licenses and renewals.
    Oversee, track and coordinate State, Federal and EPA chemical reporting and compliance.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Ag business, business, finance, accounting or related degree or equivalent Or:3-5 years of experience in logistics, purchasing administration or similar field experience
    Agriculture, Chemical and / or Energy industry knowledge is highly desirable.
    Retail/wholesale distribution business knowledge is highly desirable.
    Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft tools.
    Previous consumer purchasing, purchasing processing experience desired
    Experience directly coordinating organization wide logistics purchase administration desired.
    Experience managing and coordination and communication in a matrixed environment.
    Experience clarifying and resolving challenges and concerns in a confidential, positive manner.
