    Overview

    Position Summary:

    The Transition Nurse Fellow, with the supervision of a preceptor, conducts patient assessments, participates in the development of the plan of care, implements and evaluates care according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs as outlined below.

    Collaborates with other health care team, as guided by their preceptor, members in the delivery of care. Consistently demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care.

    Minimum Qualifications: 1+ year as a Registered Nurse. Basic knowledge of patient care principles. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor and assist in crises and emergencies.

    Education/Licensure/Certifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California and AHA BLS & PALS required.

    Pay Scale Information

    USD $89, USD $154,284.00

    CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.

    Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

    The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.

    Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
