Overview:


Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is excited to present a new training program for the experienced registered nurse who is interested in transitioning to an acute care pediatric setting.

The Transition Fellow ranging from 12 weeks to 16 weeks depending on the area of specialty, includes competency-driven clinical immersion and curriculum, as well as formal mentoring and debriefing.

The Transition Fellow will prepare and support the experienced nurse as they enter into a pediatric specialty area.

The Infusion Center Under general supervision serves as a registered nurse conducts patients assessments, partidicpates i nthe the development plan of care.

Provides Infusion therapy to our pediatric oncology patients. Program will start August 2024


Minimum Qualifications:1 year of experience working as an RN in an acute care facility and oncology experience is a plus.


Education/Licensure/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required. CA RN license and current American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification required. APHON Certification Required prior to starting or department will faciliate your completion of this certificate.
