Overview
Purpose Statement/Position Summary:
A nursing postdoctoral fellowship position is available at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. This position will conduct clinical and translational nursing research within our clinical settings.
This fellowship will help the nurse postdoctoral fellow to refine and expand clinical inquiry skills introduced in their doctoral program, develop grant writing acumen, and obtain the teaching and administrative experience necessary to work independently as a hospital-based nurse scientist or to sustain a program of clinical scholarship.
The fellow will conduct research activities independently or in collaboration with the team, publish results in peer-reviewed journals, present at national meetings, and participate in seminars, mentoring, trainings, and other educational sessions.
The two-year position is open immediately until filled with a start date of July 8, 2024.Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
Priority will be given to candidates with programs of research focused in pediatric diabetes, emergency room nursing care, and/or health services/quality & safety of care.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Current PhD or DNP preferred. Current California RN license and AHA BLS certification required.
Pay Scale Information
$29,640.00-$80,184.00

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.
The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
