    Description

    Our client, a Robotics company based in the Greater Boston Area, MA, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. The role will oversee the full product development lifecycle, with a key focus on design. We are looking for a hands-on engineer with experience in mentoring junior team members whilst also being an individual contributor.

    The base salary for this role ranges between $150k and $190k, dependent on skills and experience. Additionally, our client provides comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k and PTO offering.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the electrical design, development, and integration for advanced robotic systems, ensuring performance and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotic components and review full system designs.
    • Use an extensive knowledge of hardware design principles to lead debugging and testing activity on electrical designs.
    • Mentor and guide junior engineers within the electrical engineering team, enabling a culture of continuous professional development.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering or related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within a robotics setting.
    • Expertise in component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout for custom boards.
    • Experience bringing a product through full lifecycle from conception to production.
    • Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, Python, and/or MATLAB is beneficial for success within the role, as is experience with ROS and CAD software.
